What is Cocopeat?

Cocopeat is a 100% natural growing medium made from the fibrous husks of coconuts — a byproduct of the coconut industry that was previously discarded or burned. Processed, washed, and compressed for use in gardening, agriculture, and horticulture, our cocopeat is sourced directly from Kerala — one of India's finest coconut-producing regions — ensuring consistent quality and low EC.

Why Terravivv MHub Cocopeat?

  • ✅ Washed, low EC, and ready to use straight out of the pack
  • ✅ 100% organic — no additives, soil, or chemical treatments
  • ✅ Sourced from coconut-rich Kerala, quality-checked before dispatch
  • ✅ pH: 5.5–6.8 | EC: below 0.8–1.3 mS/cm
  • ✅ Part of our commitment to water conservation and regenerative growing

💧 Water Conservation — A Real Impact

1 kg of cocopeat absorbs and holds up to 8–9 litres of water, releasing it slowly to plant roots only when needed. You water less, waste less, and your plants stay consistently hydrated. In a country where agriculture consumes 78% of India's water at just 38% efficiency, switching to cocopeat is a meaningful, measurable step toward water-smart growing.

Available Pack Sizes

Choose the size that fits your needs — 1 kg, 5 kg, 10 kg, and 20 kg. Whether you're a home gardener or a nursery buying in bulk, we have the right size for you.

Who Is It For?

Cocopeat works for a wide range of users and applications:

  • Balcony, terrace, and kitchen vegetable gardens
  • Indoor plants and hydroponics / soilless farming
  • Nurseries and plant nurseries
  • Urban farming and polyhouse setups
  • Afforestation and land restoration projects
  • Housing society green spaces

If you're growing anything — in a pot, a plot, a polyhouse, or a grow bag — cocopeat will improve your results.

How to Use

For compressed blocks: place the block in a large container, add water gradually, and allow it to expand. 1 kg of dry cocopeat expands to approximately 8–9 litres of ready-to-use growing medium. Use it as a standalone medium, mix with soil (30–50% cocopeat), or blend with compost and perlite for a complete potting mix.

Can It Be Reused?

Yes! Cocopeat can be reused for 3–5 growing cycles. After each cycle, rehydrate it, allow it to partially dry, and it's ready again — making it one of the most cost-effective growing mediums available.
